    Hardware [Question] Superglue And PCBs

It would work fine, however, super glue may not be the best option for strength with such a low surface area. You could go with epoxy or some sort of cement type of adhesive... Instead of just securing the bottom of the microUSB connector to the board, i don't see why you wouldn't do the whole...

    Hardware 3ds Powerbank

Sounds like its probably a powerbank issue. Using a usb tester, the 3ds only draws around 400mAh-470mAh when charging. Lots of powerbanks turn off when they detect little load. Your powerbank may turn off when there's less than a certain amount of power being used. Try different power banks...

Hardware Circle pad lock down lever thingy.......

So, somewhat of a hack suggestion... Hot glue. (I've done this on more than one console, they're both still fine.) You're not repairing the connector with it, you're using it to secure the cable connection. Place the FFC in the cable slot and align it where it needs to be. Take a smallish drop...

Hardware N3DS XL POWER ISSUE. HELP!

did you connect the battery to the 3ds while dis-assembled? Odds are you connected the battery wrong, even if just for a second I have done this. I fixed it with a new battery and a new ABXY button board. This board contains some charging circuitry which was most likely damaged when the...

Hardware did I turn it into a paperweight?

Nobody mentioned that the n3ds charging daughterboard could be fried? That's pretty common with shorts on the n3ds xl, the board that has the A B X Y buttons, a lot cheaper to replace too.

Tutorial Tutorial for 3000mah battery mod for PSP 2000 & 3000

I did this a couple months ago with my $10 psp, i was told the umd reader was broken... so i pulled it out and decided to shove a battery in.. I know it being held in with hot glue looks awful, but i didn't care enough to remove the UMD door and glue it properly and i used 2.5mm headers and...

Hacking [Motherboard] I lost a small part :(

I've had luck with hot glue, Put a small drop on the ribbon cable, wait two seconds, then press on the glue. Pressing on the glue pushes the ribbon against the pins and spreads the glue at the same time, it hardens pretty quickly and can easily be removed with rubbing alcohol
