    Hacking NOGC

Thank you. How would that help me in this case, though? The gamecard firmware is updated, not bricked, so without NOGC the cartridge will work, with NOGC it won't. I guess I could downgrade to 3.0.2 and see if a gamecard works, yeah. I should've been more specific: How can I verify the...

    Hacking NOGC

I think I accidentally booted 5.1.0 without NOGC while upgrading my SD files. Is there a way to check the gamecard controller firmware?

Homebrew RELEASE ChoiDujourNX - a system firmware installer homebrew for the Nintendo Switch

A: Because fuses are burned on first normal boot, not during the install. By default, ChoiDujourNX will enable AutoRCM on any flashed firmware image, meaning that the normal nintendo bootloader will never get the chance to burn the fuses.

Homebrew RELEASE ChoiDujourNX - a system firmware installer homebrew for the Nintendo Switch

I did. I never clicked on the screenshots you provided, though, which make that specific FAQ entry more clear. Without the screenshots it seemed to me like there were different firmware versions that either did or did not include the exFAT files and I was searching all around the place to get...

Hacking [IMPORTANT] PSA: AutoRCM battery warning

Ah, that makes sense. So as long as I don't turn my switch off (hard) while it's inside the dock, I'm good, as it's inside Horizon. Pressing the power button for a short time will let it enter sleep mode which will still charge perfectly. Once I turn it completely off (hold the power button), I...

Hacking [IMPORTANT] PSA: AutoRCM battery warning

I think I'm missing something here - I'm currently preparing to go the full no-fuse-burning-upgrade-path on my current 3.0.2 switch to a recent firmware version. This will require/install AutoRCM. "For the Switch to charge it needs to be booted into Horizon / CFW." - my understanding is that...

Homebrew RELEASE ChoiDujourNX - a system firmware installer homebrew for the Nintendo Switch

Hey, Thank you for all your hard work! I'm on OFW 3.0.1/3.0.2 (Super Mario Oddysey). I don't have ExFAT support on my console yet. - Do I still need to go the full route of https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-add-exfat-support-to-the-switch-console-on-any-ofw-without-update.505182/ to get the...

Hacking Discovered a METHOD for UPDATING outdated Games

Congrats, now, with a little bit of effort, you're tracable via the barcode. And by posting screenshots of your switch system info, if Nintendo is even remotely monitoring this forum, you're opening yourself up to a shitload of stuff.

Hacking Official Haxchi v2.5u2 - a persistent WiiU hack

@FIX94 great release, well documented (if one can read and understand stuff). Thank you so much! It's hard to bear how people don't even try to understand properly what Haxchi and CBHC are, how they operate, and how to avoid asking offendingly stupid questions. Keep your head up, there are...

Extremely helpful. Even got those four steps on a small instructions paper right besides my WiiU. This is the correct link to the comment btw.
