    You could have just alt tabbed to check instead of surrendering... Obviously there is an issue with the countdown site.

    The .3dz will have the headers already for online play or if you install the .cia you won't need any of that.

    If you want to play a US game on a JP console, all you have to do is install the US .cia or just play off the US .3ds or .3dz file.

    If you want to use the Gateway then definitely do not wait for U.S. release. JAP if you want to save $80 and don't mind the UI being in Japanese. PAL if you don't mind the extra $80 and want a English UI. I personally went for the JAP version as I think it's worth saving the $80. I'll be...

    I found the replacement housing for the original black/red and black/blue colors for sale on eBay. I couldn't find anyone selling the crystal housing anywhere though.

    Can a .3dz for one region (US) be played on a 3ds of another region (Japan)? Or are .cia files the only way to play a game for a different region? Can .3dz be converted to .cia, is there anything else needed to be done in order to work?

    I plan on purchasing the New 3DS LL from Japan and had a question about online play. Since the Gateway is region free I will be able to play US region games, such as the US Super Smash Brother's. Now that being said how will the updates from the game work? Will I get the US game update as normal...
