Hacking Quick question about Gateway on o3ds
so I haven't touched my 3ds in a while and decide to get a new version for my firmware 4.5 3ds. In the gateway site itself on the manual it says 3ds firmware must be between 8.x - 9.2 but others say it can work on 4.x firmware also. So can my 4.5 3ds work on gateway, or do i have to upgrade...- D1O

Hacking Super stumped at rxtools installation
Hi, i have o3ds at firmware 4.5. I'm trying to upgrade my o3ds to 9.2 so I can use my gateway again. first, I heard that I needed to install rxtools to get even started so I followed this guide ( to do so. I installed 2.6 with firmware.bin, rxTools.dat, and slot0x25keyx.bin on my SD root...- D1O

Hardware Refurbished 3DS XL from Nintendo Store
I know this probably won't happen but have anyone bought refurbished 3DS XL from Nintendo Store recently and got 4.1-4.5 firmware in them? Also, have anyone visited retail stores and got brand new 3DS XL with 4.1-4.5 firmware in them? I just want to know if 4.1-4.5 firmware 3DS XL are...- D1O
