Hacking Wii U Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

I'm not saying your commit was bad or anything... I just don't see what the point in it was. Why did you change the IP from a hex value to a bunch of shifts?

Hardware Need an estimation for my used computer

It has good specs, don't market it as a gaming rig though. Just put "Office Machine/Work Station". I did that to one of my old computers, called it a gaming rig because I has swapped the cpu out, installed more ram and a video card, and no offers. Bring it back on there a couple months later as...

    Hacking PSM Exploit predictions/possibilities?

The PSP and Vita are complete different system architectures and until there is an official-unofficial SDK for the Vita there won't be any homebrew/emulators. It's why Yifanlu made that post with all of the documents on the elf format and how Vita binaries are signed etc. As far as I can tell...

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

Ah, ok. Saw someone post a while back to stay away from cias that change system files. I wasn't sure if the ds cart whitelist was included with that rule.

Has anyone tried the DS flashcard whitelist unblocker cia with pasta?

    Hacking PSM Runtime?

You should be ok. I saw somthing earlier than only PSM 1.14 works on FW 3.18 and PSM 1.15 needs to be on a Vita with FW 3.35 or above. If the demos are working on yours then you're good, just don't update the app. Especially on your 3.18 Vita.

    Homebrew Linux for 3DS

The only linux distro/device with tons of emulators that might take less work porting/be more compatible would be ones written for the raspberry pi since it's ARM, although that's only for the CPU side of things. The raspi still runs an entirely different distro(?) and has a different GPU and a...

Homebrew Is a N64 emulator possible?

Actually, there wasn't a huge IPC boost between cpus and the xbox one's cpu is clocked a good portion lower than the 360's and since a lot of emulators can't effectively use more than 2-3 cores they might run at a similar performance level on the 360, possibly even better, although it would be...

Homebrew Is Possible To Make Playstation 1 Emulator On 3DS?

Why is it flushing slow? Is it Ninjhax limited or just 3DS limited? I haven't swung by your thread in a while so I'm a tad behind on its progress/News.

Homebrew Is Possible To Make Playstation 1 Emulator On 3DS?

It's not that a quad core cpu or more ram won't help, I'm sure there are certain cases in PS1 emulation that can benefit from that(more space in ram to load parts of ISO, more cores to offload smaller bits of PS1 like I/O or sound). It's that emulation isn't like a game, it isn't easy to spread...

    Homebrew SDL for 3DS

Nice! Also, the sprite was flickering or having some weird defect if it was on the left side of the screen(the effect got worse as it got farther left). And the system force restarted when I exited.
