    I didn't bother erasing the scfm for this reason, thanks to your efforts, parts of the emmc can simply be blocked from being accessed; and the mlc routed to a any other destination of choice. Very handy!

    Does disabling encryption on SATA have any known speed benefit? I did try usb mlc with encryption disabled and crazymac's retroarch build worked really well! It took like 1 minute to boot instead of 10. I haven't removed my optical drive yet, but I will if it does so I can transfer my games...

    Yeah, exactly the same here! I thought it was my console that was dying, I didn't realize it was isfshax itself glitching out. For the record, I have a hynix console with an inconsistent scfm, it froze when I exited data management, and had the same boot issue so I had my suspicions. Even if...
