Homebrew Official WUP Installer - Title installer + Firmware spoofing [3.x - 5.4.0]

Is v80 the newest version of Mario Maker? The database shows v48, but I know there's at least a v80. Edit: Okay it seems like v80 is the newest, but WUPinstaller doesn't seem to be working. I run the normal kernal exploait, then wupinstaller (both from eclipsesin's site), and then go back to...

Hacking "Official" WiiU Loadiine Compatibility list thread

Captain Toad is definitely working... If you use it on a US console though, then you need to rename EUen in content/LocalizedData to USen. It'll run fine after the rename. To use a US rip on a PAL console I'd assume it would just be the opposite, rename USen to EUen.

Hacking "Official" WiiU Loadiine Compatibility list thread

So I just tried a bunch of games in Mii Maker mode (I don't own Smash Bros) and I can confirm that Captain Toad Treasure Tracker EU works, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse/Paintbrush EU works, NES Remix Pack US works, New Super Luigi U US works, New Super Mario Bros U US works, Nintendo Land US...

So would it be easier to learn how to use a rework station from knowing nothing or use just a soldering iron, already knowing how to use it?

Hardware Replacing 3DS Charging port with Micro USB

I'm currently still in high school... And my teacher keeps tho more advanced stuff (like the good soldering irons and a hot air station) in his office so most kids don't break them. So I should be able to get that equipment for free. If it really is impossibly hard, I may be able to enlist his...

Hardware Replacing 3DS Charging port with Micro USB

Lol I have a ton of mini usbs too. I mostly use them for my ps3 controllers. EDIT: Doesn't look impossibly hard... And as long as the wiring was right there would be no risk of shorting it? Like Mini/Micro USB and the 3DS port use the same voltage/amperage and such?

Hardware Replacing 3DS Charging port with Micro USB

Hmmmmm... Would I really need that good of soldering skills? I have decent soldering skills (High school electronics class). Would that be enough? And does anyone have any information of what I'd have to solder where? And I wanted this more for the cool factor and the fact that I have 5.5...

Hardware Replacing 3DS Charging port with Micro USB

I meant more if it would be electrically possible to unsolder the current power port on the back and solder in a micro-usb port. Just for charging.

Would it be possible to remove the charging port on the back of a 3DS and replace it with a micro USB port?
