Hacking Wii U N64 Romhack Injection question

Oh so I can use the vWii n64 emulator and still get Wii U speeds? Intersting that it has to be tailor made, but that basically answers my question, I appreciate that. Guess I'll give using the N64 emulator a try Quick question, are there ways to forward to vWii homebrew apps using the Wii U...

Hacking Wii U N64 Romhack Injection question

Oh? Is it because of the custom assembly? If so, that's unfortunate. I thought his stuff might work on a VC inject because he usually goes out of his way to have his romhacks be playable on console using an Everdrive or something similar Not saying that applies here necessarily, just thought it...

Hacking Wii U N64 Romhack Injection question

Hi guys, sorry if this is a question that's been asked/answered before, I searched for a while in different forums but didnt find any thing similar to my question (it is kinda niche) There are lots of really cool SM64 romhacks that I find interesting and want to play, and I also like to use VC...

    Hacking Nintendont

Your vWii doesn't need to be hacked if you use the WiiVC injector/forwarder, but I dont know whether it works better or not. For what its worth, load times for me are better on Wii U than back when I tried playing GC backups on my Wii years and years ago.

    Hacking Nintendont

I'm having a problem using a GC controller adapter (mayflash, not official) with Nintendont. I've been using nintendont to launch games from the Wii U menu using WiiVC and it's worked flawlessly so far. I was able to use my GC controller adapter and I didnt have any problems for the past two...

Hacking Kamen Rider Battride War II (JP only game) takes absolutely ages to load

Sorry to necro this thread, but I figured I'd update just to bump this and maybe see if anyone else has an idea. I installed the game to my external HDD and still no change in how long it takes. Anyone else have a clue why this might happen? I tried installing another JP Only game (Taiko no...

Hacking Kamen Rider Battride War II (JP only game) takes absolutely ages to load

Haven't tried that because I didnt think it would help, wouldn't it possibly make it slower? I'll give it a shot either way

Hacking Kamen Rider Battride War II (JP only game) takes absolutely ages to load

I recently got a Wii U with the intention of using CFW so I can play games like Kamen Rider Battride War II. The problem is that when launching the game, it takes an incredible amount of time to actually launch. I'm using Spiik to spoof my language and region to Japanese, doesn't seem to affect...

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

Yeah that seems to be the most likely culprit, since romhacks that have more simple edits like OOT randomizer run fine, but more complex ones (like anything Kaze makes) that require you to set that max memory size higher do not. I was under the impression that in Retroarch, the Mupen64Plus-Next...

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

I had a question about romhacks and Mupen64Plus, I was able to get SM64 romhacks to load, and the Ocarina of Time Randomizer DOES work correctly. I tried 3 SM64 romhacks (Shining Stars 3, Star Revenge 4.5 and Last Impact), none of them load past the title screen. So I'm unsure if there's...
