    tried that nothing seemed to happen if i used savemanager edit: worse it even overwrites any new saves to nothing so i guess the saves are lost :(

    not really, even assuming that 2.0 could render the carts useless, the clones would just have made another one that's updatable... i dont really approve of the bricking, but they probably did it to scare people from buying clones ever again
