    Homebrew mGBA Idle Issue

Hey guys, I recently downloaded mGBA to play Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission, and I'm loving it so far, but I ran into an odd problem. Two times while playing Fusion, I let the wiimote turn off when I took a break and when I turned it back on, the mGBA menu was stuck on screen, kept blinking...

    Hacking Dios Mios Inconsistencies

Might have to invest in a SD card with a higher capacity than the 16g that i'm using now if it'll give me the definitive Dios Mios experience haha. Thank you everybody for all the input

    Hacking Dios Mios Inconsistencies

Alright well I just tried to install the Dios Mios 2.10 wad and I encountered the same problem that I had last time. The wad appears when I open Multi Mod Manager and it says that it installs successfully (using ios236 as per the DM instructions,) but then when I go back to my homebrew channel...

    Hacking Dios Mios Inconsistencies

I used cfg usb loader for a while and thought it was alright, but definitely have been finding gx to be slightly more reliable as far as launching games it seems. I checked my DM version and it says on the homebrew channel that its version "r30"? And why do you need to install the RVL wads...

    Hacking Dios Mios Inconsistencies

I'm grabbing the latest wiiflow to give that a try now. How do I download the newest DM if that's the problem? Last time i tried, I deleted the DM booter and the wad, but the wad for 2.10 wouldn't install afterwards.

    Hacking Dios Mios Inconsistencies

Right now Im using a Western Digital 250gb external hard drive for all of the GC/Wii games formatted as a FAT32, cluster size is up to snuff, and system menu is 4.3U USBloadergx is Rev1193 (assuming its in the top right of the credits page) it isn't finding any updates if I search for updates...

    Hacking Dios Mios Inconsistencies

I've been using USB loader GX to play gamecube games lately, but I find it to be very inconsistent with loading them successfully. Every game will eventually play, but sometimes it will be 2 or 3 times of the wii shutting off or getting a black screen before I can get the Dios Mios logo to pop...

Hacking CFG/USB GX Not Playing Split Wbfs

I eventually just put 20ish games on my external hd and borrowed someones pc to run wii backup manager real fast to put them on all in one fell swoop. Being a pc user definitely makes the whole process much easier. I have everything more or less squared away now, but did notice something a...

Hacking CFG/USB GX Not Playing Split Wbfs

I gave the wit tools a go, but it doesn't seem like they have the option to split wbfs either. I may have to try to get on a pc and split all of my files because it seems like there isn't really anything on mac that can do it except wii backup fusion but it doesn't do it correctly lol

Hacking CFG/USB GX Not Playing Split Wbfs

I should have mentioned that I'm on a mac. I just did a search for it and I think its pc only.

Hacking CFG/USB GX Not Playing Split Wbfs

I did a little more research and came up with this thread http://gbatemp.net/threads/trouble-with-usb-loader-gx-loading-games-from-fat32-if-split-over-4gb.320937/ Post #5 would indicate that its a problem within wii backup fusion and that wiijmanager works fine, but I'm not sure how this problem...

Hacking CFG/USB GX Not Playing Split Wbfs

I posted a thread a few days ago about a problem I was having with playing wbfs files, but I have since gotten it to work if the file is under 4gb (Okami wbfs) but not if I have split a file in wii backup fusion. I have been attempting to get all of my wii/gc games onto a fat32 so I tried...

Hacking CFG not playing Wii ISOs

I'm sorry to keep posting new questions, but I keep getting new problems. I got Okami to transfer to my external (its under 4gb), but I know that fat32s don't usually like to deal with anything over 4gb on it. I split The Last Story wbfs(5.22 gb) in wii backup fusion, but the result comes out to...

Hacking CFG not playing Wii ISOs

Hacking CFG not playing Wii ISOs

Just tried reformatting my external hd to Fat32 and created a wbfs folder inside to see if wii backup fusion would recognize the drive, but no luck. I looked for a mac version of wiibackup manager but couldn't find one. Anybody know of something that can transfer wbfs files to a fat32 on a mac?

Hacking CFG not playing Wii ISOs

Well Wii backup fusion did the trick. The Last Story was instantly recognized by CFG usb loader. If the drive doesnt need to have a wbfs partion, then thats even better, since from my experience macs don't like to recognize that they even exist. I'm going to try to make the whole thing fat32 and...

Hacking CFG not playing Wii ISOs

Downloading Wii backup fusion right now for mac to convert the last story. Oddly enough, Okami was already in wbfs format when i downloaded it but refused to transfer to the wbfs partition with the witgui or wiijmanager. I'm going to give this a try real fast and I'll post the results

Hacking CFG not playing Wii ISOs

I managed to set up my usb loader to play downloaded gamecube roms a few days ago and that has been working more or less flawlessly since then. Today I attempted to get it to play wii isos with little success. I formatted my external hd with a FAT32 and a WBFS partition to put the wii games on...

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
