    Gaming Ripping models from games

I'm trying to rip some models from Super Mario 3D World, and since it uses mostly the same file types as Mario Sunshine I thought I could use the same tools. So I've been using SZSTools (http://amnoid.de/gc/), but even though I managed to extract .rarc files I just can't seem to extract anything...

ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

I fixed my problem by using JKSM to extract the save data. Your tool is amazing, thank you.

ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

Okay well I don't actually see different color icons. With the download "acnl_save_manager.zip" from the instructions page I only have SVDT and Save Manager. And in neither I can select ACNL. Did I download the wrong file? Where do I find the one you're talking about?

ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

So how does this work exactly? I placed the extracted ZIP in my SD card, went to my homebrew launcher and only had SVDT and Save Manager on there. There doesn't seem to be any option in either to dump my save data, if I do try to export it I only receive 6 folders called (achive, edit, ghost...

Hacking Home menu not working anymore after updating

Tried uninstalling. It didn't brick my PSP. I reinstalled it again, and I get the same exact problem as before. I'm now on OFW 6.60, no 6.60 PRO CFW seem to work. Can't even test if the home button works in OFW because I don't have any of my UMDs with me.

Hacking Home menu not working anymore after updating

It also seems like while I can access the recovery menu, despite being able to move the cursor up and down, as soon as I stop pressing a direction on the D-pad, the selection goes back to "back" at the top of the list. It also doesn't seem like I'm able to select anything on the menu. I also...

Hacking Home menu not working anymore after updating

I had my old PSP on 5.50 permanent cfw, and I knew I shouldn't have updated because I knew something would've fucked up, but I did it anyways to try and fix some problems I was having with crashes. The PSP was working perfectly until I updated, but as soon as I installed 6.60 Pro C2, after...

ROM Hack Fixes for all GBA Pokemon's save issue with AGB_FIRM

So, this fixed my Pokemon Fire Red, but when I boot up emerald it just straight up tells me that the save was deleted and I'm forced to start a new game. Any way to fix this?

ROM Hack [Release] AGB_FIRM Signature Patcher + GBA ROM Converter

Managed to get Fire Red to work with this https://gbatemp.net/threads/fixes-for-all-gba-pokemons-save-issue-with-agb_firm.390508/ Emerald still doesn't work though. Gonna keep trying

ROM Hack [Release] AGB_FIRM Signature Patcher + GBA ROM Converter

None. Been testing this for hours, and it just doesn't work. Yes, GBATA patch does get the games to run. However, both Flash and SRAM 128k give problems with the internal battery. With Flash, you just won't be able to save at all and the game will get stuck trying to find a backup. With SRAM...

ROM Hack [Release] AGB_FIRM Signature Patcher + GBA ROM Converter

I'm trying to play a modification of Pokemon Fire Red, but when I start the game it tells me I should switch to Flash 128k on VBA. Now of course this wasn't made to be played outside of an emulator, but I'm still wondering if there's any way to do this on the 3DS?

ROM Hack [Release] Yet Another Theme Application PLUS (YATA+ ,3ds theme editor)

Nevermind, had to encode to 16bit Wav instead of 32. Although I literally have no clue how to install this. I exported the body_LZ.bin. I put extdatatools (which I suppose is what I use to install themes) in my 3ds folder and then put the theme in the folder. Started the Homebrew Launcher...

ROM Hack [Release] Yet Another Theme Application PLUS (YATA+ ,3ds theme editor)

Trying to make a theme for the first time here. If I try to convert a wav file into the music for my theme, the converter that pops up just doesn't show any music at all. I tried with a smaller file, still nothing. I've looked at the guide, it should say samples and actually play the song, but...

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I've asked before, and apparently no, it can't be permanently installed. Don't remember why, but it made sense.

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I don't have a gateway, so I have no clue on how it works. But PastaCFW doesn't really install, every time you restart your system you have to restart Pasta. But by having a Gateway that can run Cubic Ninja, I suppose you should be able to launch the homebrew app, and therefore start Pasta.

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Not an expert, but I think I can answer. As far as I've noticed, the online play for games doesn't seem to be tied to the firmware of the actual console. I'm on 9,2 and I've been able to play online in more than one game, so it works as long as that game has the latest update released. I'm also...

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Using Ninhax and Pasta CFW on 9,2 here. Before doing the exploit I had Mii Plaza with all 4 additional (were they 4? Can't remember) installed. But of course, for the exploit to run, I had to format my SD, deleting all of them. Now unfortunately I'm not able to even download Mii Plaza, since I...

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Ah man, what a bummer. Was thinking of sending back my Cubic Ninja copy after the homebrew, guess I'll have to keep it. Thanks!

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Is there a way to install Pasta CFW permanently? As of now every time I want to start an unsigned app I need to go into cubic ninja and relaunch the pasta cfw from homebrew channel. There must be a way to have it always installed... Right?

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I recently homebrewed my 3DS. I used the internal SD to install Big Blue Menu, it installed perfectly and was able to make it work. Then I bought a bigger SDHC card to have more space since the normal one just has 2gb, I try to install Big Blue Menu again, and it says: Install Failed! Could not...
