He's obviously messing with you SuperSZ, ignore him. He is part of their team, and they've got a blog, which I only found from a Google search just now. Ofcourse, if they were alot clearer and more open about these things we wouldn't be having all these misunderstandings. I really don't...

Ewinko mentioned earlier that they were in IDs 44,45,46,47,48,49 and 50; I haven't checked this though. (Also that's only seven, but there's eight buttons as 'Attack' as a hover). I just ripped them with Gitmo and found them as PNGs. Not sure how you'd convert them back to gim, but I meant I can...

I can flatten the PSDs to PNG if you want them. I know your using the Japanese terms, so I'll change Digivolve to 'Evolve', and I see from your screenshot that you're using 'Tech.' instead of Skill. Are there any other terms you need to stay consistent? I've got them as Digivolve (L)...

That's probably it then. I presumed that was all mention of Koromon since that was the file Xhai and Liberta had been editing. I was just experimenting with what I could find tbh, might try it again another day when I've got some time.

I was just testing it out, just did a search and replace for Koromon in Japanese, then overwrote the eboot in the iso. Didn't work, so I'm guessing it needs to be re-encrypted, not sure how you'd do that. Wikimon consistently uses the Japanese terms, you're looking at the English Wiki which...

I'm not entirely sure. They could be GMOs since some of the exported PNGs look very 3D rather than like typical Toei portraits. I guess you could maybe go through the GMO exports in Noessis if that helps. Or even the texture thumbnails if you batch export to DAE or OBJ. That's what I did to find...

JPCSP should do it, tick 'Extract decrypted EBOOT.BIN files to the TMP folder' under Options > Configuration > Crypto, then run the game and check the folder. I tried to test it myself, changed a few words and overwrote the old EBOOT in the iso with the decrypted one, but it didn't make a...

'Attack' (the centre button) has two icons, there's the orange hover aswell. So shouldn't there be eight files? Or are they stored together. I uploaded the originals aswell, incase the file sizes help find them, ofcourse Gitmo might've converted them to PNG. I guess they'd need to be PNGs or...

I found them earlier on through gitmo, ticked the png box when I was extracting 3d models. I've quickly blanked them and added text just now, PSDs incase the font or translation needs changing. Good luck getting it back into the CPK though, Gitmo didn't tell me any of the ID file names.

Personally, I'm more inclined towards dub names, since that's what I grew up with, but I see how it would make sense to keep the original names so I wouldn't mind too much. The Digidestined names are pretty much just nicknames of the original names anyway. Keep in mind that only the partner...

Could it just be a list of leaders? If you're right about a Gatomon-Wizardmon episode without Kari, one of might need to lead. Maybe Leomon and Ogremon get their own lead episodes or quests.

I think you might be right. Maybe as they're AI controlled team members, and you don't actually pick their actions directly. Atleast that's the case for Leomon during battle. Interesting about a Gatomon and Wizardmon episode, but how exactly would that work? I'd guess Gatomon would be AI...

I've noticed that someone on GameFAQs translated all the items, lucky since that seems to be the biggest hurdle for me playing so far. Anyone know which file they're in? Might give this hex-editing lark a bash myself.

Both versions work on the JPCSP emulator. Maybe it is, but I'd guess that the 5.00 M33-6 version was pre-patched to work with the lower firmware, so I couldn't apply this patch on top. Found the other version earlier but I couldn't get it working with my PSP, so I went hunting for another. Guess...

Oh, I got it working. Seems there's two versions of the iso kicking about, but they work on different firmwares. So this patch won't apply for the version working on custom firmware 5.00 M33-6.

I'm getting an 'XD3_INVALID_INPUT' error. Hmm could the problem be with my iso?

    Hacking Digimon Adventure [PSP]

Hi, I was working on translating the Digimon skills for a guide, I don't know actual Japanese so that's the best I can do. I've been using OCR software to rip the text from screenshots, then comparing to the specific Digimon page on Wikimon. (I started off just comparing characters...) Naturally...

I don't know Japanese, but I made a start at comparing some attack names with those on Wikimon. I've put them up at GameFAQs. It's not much but it might help. I see the irony of what Romsstar just said. :P
