    I see your point, it's easier for shiny chaining. However, for me who didn't finish the game yet, it's painful to be always getting on random encounters to lvl up or capture new Pokemon and getting trapped into a long long boring battle... There should be some item or ability to stop that...

    Oh yeah, you got a point. Tbh, I don't even know what is the error code for someone being banned for public headers' usage; I just supposed his was that one. --- By the way, is it possible nowadays to bypass public headers' bans using the same methods ppl use for bypassing the SuMo bans?

    Oh fair enough. I remember reading something about flashcards (mainly gateway?) only allowing .3dz and not .3ds for safety reasons. It's been some time I don't look through actual roms stuff though, specially playing online (not my cup of tea)

    Why does it matter being .3ds or .3dz? I thought they were exactly the same (though afaik the gateway tool auto-renames your .3ds to .3dz after injecting a private header)

    Yeah I suppose it's rather complicated, but on the matter of needing multiple computers, well, there's always raspberry pi's for that. I suppose that if instructed, an average curious user could setup their own servers, even if that's just for the sake of curiosity, challenge and whatnot...
