Just an update if anyone cares, I got C2D_Fade working. And as I suspected, you need to run it over several frames, with the alpha incrementing from 0 to 255 before changing to the new screen, and then incrementing from 255 to 0 to complete the transition. I've seen C2D_Fade and played with it, but I can't really see how to use it to establish a transition unless I'm meant to use it over several frames through a loop. Just hoping to see an example. Maybe I'll go on the git and make it a request on the Issues board.- Daeymon

Homebrew TWLoader crashes on startup
Its probably got quick start not enabled in settings. A bug that was introduced near the end of its life, but its now discontinued, so it won't be fixed. Hold both A and Y immediately after launching the app to enable the option during the app initialization.- Daeymon

Citro2d lists fadeIn/fadeOut transitions as one of its features but I can"t seem to figure out the functions for this feature. I also cannot find any examples or documentation in regard to it. Anyone able to help?- Daeymon

Homebrew who here has updated from TWLoader to DSImenu++
If anyone who is using this would be kind enough to confirm. All the screenshots I've screen gives the impression this does not have the boxart on the top screen like TWLoader. That feature was the main reason I used TWLoader for my flashcart.- Daeymon

So TWLoader can create forwarders? So in theory, if you combined that with the GridLauncher 3DSFlow project, you could make a very nice unified menu. Well its all part of the wish list trinity I have for the next emulation handheld I'll buy. I want it emulating PSP and DS, all with a pretty nice frontend to launch the games directly. Looking for a good android based handheld.
Currently I'm using a fully customized PSP 3000, which is good, but emulation development has heavily slowed and customizing it to just the way I like has been a nightmare. Best "open" handheld for emulation?
I'm tempted by the JXD S7300b but I'm worried the screen is too big for emulating classic handheld games like Gameboy and GameGear. Also how does it hold up with the experimental yet improving nds4droid and ppsspp?- Daeymon
