recently all my wiiware and vc games have failed to start up properly when launched from usb loader gx. I have gone through the settings time and time again and cannot find what's wrong. even channels that are on my real nand do the same thing. i select the title, launch it, but then the...

    Hacking game crashing through DM

I hate to be "that guy" who starts a thread on what seems to be a trivial issue, but i looked around and haven't really seen any discussion on the problems I've had. Well I got Dios Mios to work through usb loader gx, and practically all my games load fine without problems. Tonight, however, I...

Tutorial How to play GameCube games off a USB HDD.

tried uninstalling with MMM, was unsuccessful. reinstalled with still no luck. maybe if i could find another mios to install, it would overwrite DM and i could reinstall from there? Honestly I don't know what i'm talking about, and even if this would work wether or not it would fix the...

Hacking Skyward Sword Black Screen (Possible Spoiler)

have you tried a different cios? i know for monster hunter 3 using a form of hermes (i used 222) will make it work, but idk about skyward sword. usually if that's the problem it would make the game unplayable from the get-go, but might as well experiment.

    Hacking Devolution Speculation thread

so...this might be a question that can only be answered by tueidj, and perhaps it's been asked before, but I'm curious I've spent the last couple of days burning my gamecube games to my hard drive in anticipation of Devolution or DM, but realized I might have to reburn them with the AP system. I...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

you don't need emunand for dml as far as i know...but to set up emunand copy the nand to sd using bootmii, then hop on your computer and use nand extractor to extract the nand.bin to your usb. the nand dump is located under settings-->features for usblgx, close to the bottom

    Hacking USB Loader GX

in the settings you can have a main path for gamecube games and an sd path. my main path was originally set as sd, but it's a pretty quick and easy fix hope this answers your question

    Hacking Modernizing my USB loader

the backup loader (not dml, afaik) copies the game from the drive to the sd, and the file stays there until you overwrite it with another game or delete it using a file manager. you can choose multiple games to store without deleting others, but this is limited by the sd storage capacity

    Hacking Modernizing my USB loader

before you invest in a big sd card, you should be aware that using usb loader gx (and probably every other mainstream loader out there) you can still install the gamecube games on the usb, and then select them to be written to the sd. what this means is, as long as your sd card is 2gb or...

    Hacking QUICK/NEWBIE QUESTIONS here!

for future reference, if anyone in need stumbles across this, all i did was create a nand.bin and key.bin file on my sd from bootmii. i then used nand extractor (a computer program) to extract nand.bin to the nand folder on my hard drive. i had previously dumped the nand to emunand and was...

    Hacking QUICK/NEWBIE QUESTIONS here!
