I might just give up on the RB1 songs, and live with the thousands of others available as RB3 DLC :P There's always Frets on Fire too (if I could get it to stop crashing). Thanks for the help though! If anyone else has any tips though, I'd still appreciate them, I'll check back on occasion.- doorknob60

I can find a few things about this method, but I am unsure where to begin. A lot of the guides suggest that this will work with the DLC tracks, but do not mention customs (as the RB1 and GH3 that I want to import are not official DLC). Will it still work? I just recently bought Rock Band again, as I've been dying to play it. The problem is, my Wii's DVD drive doesn't work well enough to play games, so I load everything onto a USB HDD. Hardware Dios Mios hdd issue
I had this problem, and it turns out it was because the partition table was GPT and not MBR. I don't know how to check that in Windows, but Google will be your friend, look up how to convert GPT into MBR. I use Linux so the way I used won't work if you use Windows, but after changing it, now it...- doorknob60

I fixed it! It's dumb GPT! It's also what was causing my DIOS MIOS not to work! After comverting the partition table of my HD from GPT to MBR, my Emunand (and DIOS MIOS) now work fine! Hacking DIOS MIOS (Lite)
If anyone here is having trouble getting DM to detect and use their USB HD, make sure it is in MBR and not GPT! Mine was in GPT, and while it worked fine in USB Loader GX, Dios Mios apparently didn't like that. I followed this guide and suddenly it all works...- doorknob60

I'm having the same problem. I have d2x-v9-beta installed in cIOS 248 (with it set to 248 in the options of USB Loader GX), and I have the latest USB Loader GX version r1203. Yeah now that I think about it, if I'm gonna buy pirated games, what's the difference than just getting a GBA flashcart or Easy 3in1 and just using that, it's the same legally... Yeah if the guy responds (he hasn't yet) I'll probably test them before I buy to make sure they at least play fine, then buy them anyways.
