    Well, have tried almost everything. Setting modes on and of in the loader. Trying different isos of the game etc. Could it be a differents in the cios. that only affects older wiis? Cause all the older games i have tried, is there no problems in. I also have this problem in the new Kirbys game.

    i always start out by trying in default modes. and i have tried both the Pal and NTSC version of the game, with the same result. One version i tried, i got to work but it kept loading every 10 seconds in the game.

    i have checked wiiflow and modmii. and it is running cios 249 on base 56. Also tried to burn the game to disc (have an old wiikey 1 installed). could see the game. but got an disc error while loading? also thanks for the help so far. it has given me some ideas what to try next.

    Well, i have now re modded my wii with the ModMii tool (great piese of work). But i still have the problem? I have now located that never games share the same problem. It goes for Rayman origins, Kirby´s Adventure, Pocoyo Racing (I have small kids!) and Mario and Sonic at the London 2012...

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
