Computer problem : Can be very laggy

Hopefully it will be all good then and you'll finally have a stable PC. Good luck mate. Now might be a good idea to update the drivers for the motherboard if you haven't already. Not knowing whether you ever updated the rapid storage driver before you had the problems with the freezing and lag...

Computer problem : Can be very laggy

As long as you are sure which drive your pc is booting to or want it to boot to (I guess), The proper way should be to go into the boot tab in msconfig, highlight the one you don't want or need and click delete assuming they both show up. Then reboot when you are asked to and you should be good...

USB 2.0 stick causing lag in games on USB Loader GX?

Usb is backwards compatible so if you use a usb 3.0 device in a usb 2.0 slot, it 'should' give you maxed out usb 2.0 speeds when used with a device that only supports usb 2.0. Whether that is ok with a wii and usb loader GX or not, idk. Maybe someone elase will know.

USB 2.0 stick causing lag in games on USB Loader GX?

If it's writing at 3.5 mb/s then the average range can be from 3 to 10 mb/s from what i've read so it's in spec. Read speed can be anywhere from 10 to 25 mb/s on average. Maybe check the read/write speeds with a PC or laptop. Never had a wii so i'm not sure beyond that,

Still no Windows 11 minimum requirements HELP

Although there might be some way to get it to work from what i've read, MBR isn't really suitable for using Secure Boot. In the BIOS settings, is there a change mode option for TPM? Like a user mode option? As we don't know what motherboard you have it's harder to troubleshoot. If you want to...

Computer problem : Can be very laggy

Not sure. What does SP Toolbox say if you use the diagnostics scan? If the drive health is still good, are there any firmware updates for it? If you think it still might be the drive, trying a different sata cable or port might do the trick. After some digging, are you using the latest Intel...

@Noctosphere See if this helps. It will explain what LSA is and how to troubleshoot it. https://www.elevenforum.com/t/enable-or-disable-local-security-authority-lsa-protection-in-windows-11.11104/#8 Somebody reported that they had that issue and found that there was a bad nvidia driver...

Computer problem : Can be very laggy

In the event viewer logs, have you any warnings for nvlddmkm? I noticed that you are using an nvidia GPU. If there are, it 'could' be a TDR issue at a small chance. Other than that, you could go through all the startup items using msconfig. Disable anything non-microsoft and anything else...

What song are you currently listening to?

I'm not sure but I think the lightsabres in Star Wars were done the same way (rotoscoped). I think they went through several different versions of Take on Me before it was a hit. The extra effort and patience certainly paid off for them. Just found out that the video took about 16 weeks to do.

What song are you currently listening to?

Even though the arrangement was obviously different for this, he can amazingly still hit that high C live in concert. Not sure how old you are but I remember first seeing Take on Me on Top of the Pops here in the UK when it first broadcast. Just incredible. 1712871458

OK, so we are all here because at the core, we are GAMERS. Which consoles do you currently use? I'd like EVERYBODY HERE to chime in!

@The_Dizzy_Vizzy The TRS-80 coco was cool but that keyboard was awful. They had a Space Invaders clone on that. I remember letting people pay for goes on it at a fete in the village where my school was one year. In return they were given a ticket for the raffle with the proceeds going to...

@The_Dizzy_Vizzy I'm glad to have shared it and that you found it interesting. I appreciate it. Tandy were probably better known as RadioShack. Coco was the unofficial nickname for the Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer. I'd not heard of the Coleco Adam before, shame it was so expensive and poorly...
