Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

I don't know if it is possible, but what about confirmation numbers? I don't know if you know those or not, but that provides a way to authenticate people without exposing any personal info (unless you hack into paypal) and gives a somewhat random number.

Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

Doesn't the Internet channel also have a "save game" for its' data? Maybe that's causing the problems, but I don't know if it would've gotten wiped out by uninstalling the channel...

Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

What? Are you attempting to run ModMii from your Wii? ModMii is a program you run from your Windows computer, not the Wii. Run ModMii from your computer and use the Wizard option to re-hack your Wii (as I posted before). I thought you were saying your Wii wouldn't boot, but clearly I misunderstood

Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

If you can't get your Wii to boot at all (not even into Bootmii), then you will not be able to make use of ModMii. If you want to see if you can get into Bootmii, fire of ModMii, enter '2' (Download Page for apps and such), enter 'BSD' (Bootmii SD files) and then 'd' (to download). Copy the...

    Hacking More empy channel slots?

You can also use a system menu replacement to allow you to access more channels. Triforce, Postloader, Might Channels will all allow you to access more channels (I've only used Postloader).

    Hacking Wad manager error 1022?

It does sound like your SD card is bad, but if you're having the same trouble with a separate card, then it could be the card reader. What if you try using FTP to get them onto the card while it's in the Wii? Or you could use a USB thumb drive/HDD; or you could reformat your SD card and try...

    Hacking neek2o

If you want to move to UNEEK+DI with neek2o, simply move/copy your nands folder from sd to usb, rename or delete the bootmii and sneek folders and then build the sneek installation with uneek+di from ModMii and put those folders on your usb and sd. That should do it and you can boot it using the...

    Hacking neek2o

Are you getting any response from the Wii, such as drive light blinking? I should have some free time tonight and I'll see if I can get neek2o working on my SD card

    Hacking neek2o

Yes to both. I use neek2o with only wbfs games (in usb:/wbfs) and the PAL games show as EUR and NTSC-U games show as US in the overlay menu

    Hacking neek2o

I don't know about on the SD (obcd can confirm), but on my usb drive (using neek2o) I have a similar nand setup as yours; namely usb:/nands/{all my nands}. I would think it would work the same on the SD card, but neek2o will ignore the nands folder if it finds a nand at the root of the device...

    Hacking neek2o

If you didn't have a nands folder before, you don't have to worry about the nands being merged. As for having your wbfs folder set up like you have it, that should work, according to the first post. Do you just have one nand in your nands folder? Also, have you tried the nswitch homebrew app? I...

    Hacking Game freezes

What drive are you using? Sounds like that's the most likely cause. Also, what version of Loaders are you using?

    Hacking neek2o

@ocihc80: You have it setup correctly for SNEEK+DI. You would even be safe deleting the sneek folder on your USB, since the diconfig.bin file will be recreated the next time sneek is started (and I'm pretty sure it goes on the sd card). The kernel.bin and other files people are telling you to...

    Hacking zedla ss help

After installing Priiloader, did you enable the Prevent updates hacks? If not, hold down the reset button when booting the Wii and enable the hacks in the menu that comes up. If it says no hacks found, you'll need hacks.ini or hacks_hash.ini on your SD card

    Hacking neek2o

@kraqh3d: Maybe you could try using a smaller cluster size, like I mentioned earlier. My HDD only works with 8 KB clusters, anything larger causes the nands not to boot.

    Hacking neek2o

That's the way to go, to make sure it's not a bad file or something. Also, I wanted to say that when I initially setup UNEEK (before neek2o came out), I had trouble with my hard drive when the sectors were larger than 8 KB, but at 8 KB, my drive worked great. Maybe that's something else you...

Gaming Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword

Paying for homebrew aside, just follow the link Lacius posted; it goes directly to the zip file you need. Simply download it and extract the contents in the "inSDRoot" folder to your SD card (the apps and usb-loader directories). If you see any messages about existing folders/files, just select...

    Hacking neek2o

I've noticed this, too. It seems to have something to do with ModMii not creating an expanded NAND. I haven't tried this, but put the ModMii created NAND in your USB root directory (like you normally would with UNEEK) and see if NEEK2O expands it. If it does, move it to your NANDS folder and you...
