    okay thanks, I turned it off ever since it kept asking me to update every time I turned it off on my r4i, I want to get a 3DS and you said firmware 1.0 i can update to 4.5U but isn't the current firmware on 1.2?

    Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it.
