Well it wasn't a update. just an extra app. that was why I turned it off. ANd they really should say not to turn off. I'll give Nintendo a ring and see what they want to change me for the plesure.- sunsetdk

Gaming 3DS DSiWare Transfer Damaged My DSi?!
I was messing round with the shop too, saw this transfer tool, and wanted to read more about it. It then starts to download. So I just power off the DSI XL. I'm now stuck with the same error message. I did not say anything about not to power off while transferring. Can the console be recovered...- sunsetdk

It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid -

Ship to ship communication software for the Navy although without access to the encrypting chips it was mostly useless
