    Have you tried playing other games? If other games work, your San of Destruction is probably corrupted. Try to download another copy of the game and try to see if it works. It is most likely that the game got corrupted.

    It's probably your DS Screen that got damaged. You should get it replaced and place a screen protector on it.

    Why would you change it to ".gb or .gbc"? Are you playing a regular NDS game or a GameBoy game? Because if you're trying to play a NDS game, it has to be a .nds file.
