    I applaud developers like Bioware for not using prerendered cutscenes. In-engine cutscenes give you a better sense of immersion, which is necessary for any game with a deep plot like Mass Effect or Half-Life (or arguably Halo).

    All of their competitions are free to enter, free to distribute your games. The October Challenge is different, and doesn't have any prizes beyond the $1+ you earned.

    Keep an eye on the Ludum Dare. They're doing another competition sometime in the next few months, and every October they do the October Challenge which is "Finish a game, put it up for sale, earn $1."

    I think he means some of the exclusive SwapNote stationaries. US has exclusives, UK has exclusives, Japan has exclusives. But exclusive is the wrong word for this situation, because if you receive a message using that stationary, you unlock the stationary as well.
