@ godlike : yeah, that solves it of course, but that's really a bother too.
@ oncle: I'd really like to use the disc channel but a boy and his blob gave a 002 error. (and so does the Conduit, this of course runs fine in neogamma and other loaders)
I've been thinking about this for a while, since almost all guides here are against installing CIOScorp just for the sake of running games from the disc channel.
What do you think is the actual best way of running original games (yeah, I still buy those and have many of them from the 'early'...
Whoops right, and it doesn't load when you remove the sd card either, forgot to mention that
The question actually was: is there any 'option' to avoid booting it. But I guess you already answered it anyway, tee hee
Noob question here again... is there any way to avoid booting (or showing the menu) bootmii when you turn on your console? I know there's many ways on Preloader but haven't found one on bootmii yet.
Thanks
Guys, would you foresee any problems in installing dvdx and bootmii AFTER having installed HBC and preloader? bootmii shouldn't be a problem but I'm afraid dvdx would conflict with any cIOS already installed on the Wii. Any thoughts?
Thanks
It definitely is a good game, if not a great game, but certainly not the second coming of Jesus.
I, for one, would have hated it if it came out like four years ago. Since then, I had something like a truce with Japanese culture/Anime/Manga so I can definitely tolerate TWEWY. I actually liked...
I see no problem with that. If he was installing the update from 4.1 to 4.2 and THEN wanting to install, well yes, that would be a problem. But since he's already on 4.2, and he's already hacked his Wii, I really see no problem with installing a whatever USB Loader.
Same reply as before, no need to open a new topic. He has already installed bootMii/HBC/DVDx etc? Then go ahead. Do a NAND backup before that, if he's really that anxious.
Mmh... but do people care that much about the colours of their console?
I mean, I could understand caring about the color of a portable one, people are more bound to see that, but a console that stays at home most, if not all, of the time?
First of all: thanks again for the great guide, I had already modified my Wii with the Twilight Hack but this that much needed boost to my Wii hacking knowledge
So, here comes a dumb question: which IOS should I use to install WiiWare WADs or VC? I'd use IOS249 and can see no problems with...
My dog used to chase off my neighbors cat from our yard, till one day the cat stood its ground, and paw slapped the shit out of my dog, now the cat wonders thru my yard, and my dog don't even care anymore, he's like f that cat. Lol
