My gues is that they saw the fun of that and started feeding these story`s with trolls. If they or someone else realy is working on it, no one will know...

    The cost for reparing are pritty high. I can remember reading that someone returned it, and got a bill arround 300 euro`s but did not had to pay it because of warranty. And Zilzo voided his warranty, than you would be almost better off buying a new console.

    You can maybee overwrite the ios 56, 57 ,58 with the old cios installer that required the wads to install. Same for the ios236, only IF you used that one.     Don`t just start restoring the nand or overwrite an ios, it could result in a brick. Do some research on what is possible first.
