    You are using boot2? In this case the remote cannot work. Use a gc controller or "power" button to navigate and "reset" button to select the item.

    OK, with fw 4.1 installed I have done the upgrade that grand slam tennis request..... and... no problem. Now i can launch this game (and sports resort) from disc menu, and all the other backup with backup launcher.

    Another question here.... Now on main menu (4.1e fw) i have an sd icon. If i click on it and i have a sd inserted, the wii start to load from it, but it freeze! I have used the same sd built for upgrading the system in offline mode. What is the problem?

    I have the same problem. Did You think that perform the updating request is safe or i can lose the HBC or something else? I don't like preloader too much and if possible i don't want to install it!

    Another question: I have EA Grand Slam Tennis that ask me to install the 3.4e firmware. How can i skip this? Only with the preloader? Why it ask me to update if now i have 4.1E?

    as i write upe the error is not 2011 but 1022... sorry EDIT: DONE!!!! the problem is the sd. I have tried loading the wad from usb and evrything goes well. Now i will try loading my backups..... :-)

    Hi everybody... i'm new here I have a wii with 3.4e fw and HBC installed. No internet connection. I want to upgrade to 4.0 or 4.1 without loosing the HBC channel and use backup launcher. Can i use this guide as it is? Is there any problem? Thanks a lot!

    Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it.
