Important question: are your files decrypted? They need to be unencrypted (lots of 0000000 files and .app files) in order for them to be read on a Wii U-formatted USB hard drive, IIRC.- BIGWORM

Flashes once. Weird thing, I had BootMii working perfectly fine before, and had backed up my NAND a while ago (a year?). I'm not sure what would make it not show up all of a sudden.- BIGWORM

I've got a weird issue with BootMii. My Blue LED on the Wii flashes, which indicates that BootMii is installed, but I don't ever see it pop up, nor have I for some while. I've checked to make sure the necessary files were on the SD card, which they are, and I modified the ini file to boot...- BIGWORM

Nice. Thanks for the help, everyone. I was sorta anxious posting in here. Thought I was going to need a flame suit or something, haha! *edit* Wife brought the Lite (a pink one, nonetheless lol), popped in the Acekard with the DSL update file on it, ran it, and now it runs on my son's DSi...- BIGWORM

Even using a LITE to update the 2i, will that enable it to work on a DSi running v1.4.3? I'm assuming so. I've got my wife out right now running to get a LITE, lol.- BIGWORM

I believe my son had updated himself to v1.4.3U to get into the DSi Shop, now his Acekard 2i doesn't work. I just purchased another online through gameplayfun.com and it doesn't work, either. Is there a way to fix it without needing a different DS? Possibly downgrade the DSi? The new acekard...- BIGWORM

I'm about to run and purchase a GCN controller. Is there any way to run HBC through a GCN controller? I've lost all wiimote functionality for the time being, so i won't be able to do half the stuff you guys are suggesting. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to run HBC to get stuff going...- BIGWORM

turned out it was the SD card my friend was using in his Wii, which was the 2GB Nintendo-branded SanDisk you can buy at Wal-Mart for 10 bucks. Though it took up physical space in the SD card, it turned up as a zero-byte file. I backed it up again (after the fact) on my Kingston microSD with SD...- BIGWORM

Just want to know if the latest version of HBC supports the GCN controller? I bricked my friend's Wii hard and with bushing's help I was able to get it to boot to HBC with a stripped down NAND.- BIGWORM

SUPER BUMP!! I got a hold of the man named bushing, and through his expertise, I'm able to boot back to HBC. For some reason, it still won't boot to sysmenu, but I can boot to HBC. I put BootMii as a boot2 on my friend's Wii before I did anything to it, and backed up the NAND on the sd. I installed HBC and then updated to 4.0 through Waninkoko's updater.
