Thank you for your help everyone! This morning i figured it out that it was only that I needed to update to revision 13b! Now my Wii is completely softmodded . Thank you especially FenrirWolf, I have to say that you were the most help through my entire 4.0 LU65 adventure, both directly and...
Thank you for your help, but I do realize what the 349 error means. I believe that I have cIOS249 installed correctly, as I have used anytitledeleter to look at all of my IOS's on my system and IOS 249 is most definitely listed. I am just wondering if there is an extra IOS I have to install or...
Not to revive a really old thread, but I thought bumping my old one would be better than creating a whole new one for a problem that is related to this thread.
Well, I have now successfully used cboot2 to install cIOS rev 11, but I have been having some issues with both backup loader and USB...
If you wish to wait til I finish tomorrow (if I do) I will type up a detailed guide for you and for anyone else who may want to try this on their lu64+ 4.0 Wiis. (I realize that my method may not work on all Wiis). I would type up what I would try, but I'm not very good with planning out things...
Ok, it looks like I will have to postpone my test until tomorrow night (meaning my results will be back no later than 9 o'clock Mountain Time) due to the bug that you MUST have a gamecube controller to navigate BootMii due to a bug in the IOS version that breaks the ability to navigate using...
Thank you WiiGator. For anyone who is concerned, I will be testing this configuration tonight. If I get a cIOS version working on my lu65 Wii (4.0) tonight, I will update with my steps for any and all of those who recently purchased a new Wii.
EDIT: I learned how to read.

Well, just for everyone's information, I just got home and am going to go about trying it shortly. (by it I mean installing a trucha bugged IOS using cboot2 and BootMii Beta 2 as an IOS). If anyone would like to suggest which bugged IOS I should install, it would be greatly appreciated.
I also have a question, I was wondering if, since as you say it runs with a BootMii IOS installation, this works with Wiis with the fixed Boot1 (such as the LU64).

When trying to install cIOS, I get a ticket error (as i sort of expected).
Now, I have read from other threads that it is a little possible to downgrade to 3.4 if your Wii came with it. Now, I believe, since our Wii got the message from Nintendo saying the "4.0 update is now available" and it...
Thank you very much for your reply, Fenrir. So, it sounds like i am SOL until a new version of HackMii is released? Do you, or anyone else, know if the Team Twiizers is working on anything for 64+?
Thanks,
Xerxes
Hello everyone!
I'm a little new to the Wii homebrew scene, but not homebrew in generally, as I myself am very acquainted with PSP hacking and homebrew, I also tried to code a little for a PSP as well.
Well, it seems like I may have run into a little dilemma. My sister just got a Wii for her...
