    I have seen this where BootMii has the wrong region for video mode. If you open the ini file for BootMii on the SD card and change the video mode to your region (NTSC?) it may fix the problem.

    Thanks! I'll give it a try. Although if this is a dol file I won't be able to run it since my card won't work in HBC. Would have to be a WAD. Can't download from mediafire at work.

    I have the exact same problem with my 8GB Class 4 Kingston SDHC card. Works in Wii menus but not for HBC or Wad Manager 1.3 (the one that is supposed to support SDHC).

    It could be that you are using an SDHC card. Preloader will not load those cards. Need 2gb or less.
