    Right, but should I risk using Choi for my sysnand update, or should I just update sysnand normally through the settings online through Nintendo? I’m concerned about them banning me in the future for the fuse count being off.

    Thanks a lot for the answers you provided. So is my best bet to update sysnand normally once I’m hacked? That way I don’t have to worry about them detecting my fuse count is off which is one less thing? Is there any real advantage to preventing burned fuses other than downgrading?

    They'll still sell them--they'll simply use older firmware or hire a halfway competent coder to comment out the hash check or remove it entirely. Then they'll continue to steal Gateways code. One thing we know for a fact they won't do--write their own code.

    In retrospect, I should have had an option for "I do not own a flash card. Gateway never should have written brick code." I thought it was established that the code bricked the clone devices too? Am I wrong on that front?
