The "class" of an SD card refers to it's minimum "write" speed not read speed. You can google it if you want. For example a Class 2 card writes at a minimum 2MB/s. Higher the class doesn't necessarily mean it has faster reads. My Class 2 Sandisk reads faster than my Transcend Class 6 but has...
I want to get rid of some plugins from the official EOS 1.07, namely moonshell since I won't ever use it. I deleted the bmp/ini/nds from the _dstwoplug folder and moonshl2 folder from the root. When I boot up the card the main menu shows a yellow icon with a question mark on it. Is that supposed...
1.) There's that one loader in the "loaders" folder, but nothing in the "ak2loader" folder. Is that how it's supposed to be?
Yes
2.) I want to add NES, Genesis, and SNES emulators to the card (already have them downloaded), where do I put them as well as the games?
Read the installation...
If I were to buy a cart today it would be the DSTwo. I've been using an Acekard2i since the DSi came out but it doesn't have an embedded cpu like the Supercard that lets you run GBA games. I also have a M3i Zero which I have literally used once. Sakura looks nice and everything but is very...
Actually, you'll need to copy AKAIO 1.5 system files onto your SD card so that you can boot into it to run the Dany Phantom patch (this updates the internal firmware of the Acekard).
After you've ran the patch, then you update the DSi firmware to 1.4.
What firmware is your DSi using? If it's 1.4 you will need to update your Acekard's internal firmware with the 1.4 fix. Are you using the latest loaders as well?
I would back up the *.sav file and keep it on your PC until you reformat your microSD (use the Panasonic Formatter) and try again. These things happen. Nothing works perfectly forever otherwise there would be no such thing as warranties.
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
