This game barely works on any cards to start with. I think there was 1 cart that actually had it working but I forgot which it was. I'm assuming we would have to wait for firmware updates in order to play this game on the flash carts.
Maybe you didn't name the cheat file correctly. What kind of R4 flash cart do you have? I have the R4 SDHC clone and for me, I have to download the USRCHEAT.dat from the GBAtemp directory and rename it as CHEAT.dat in order for it to read it. When I download the CHEAT.dat from GBAtemp, I think...
Well some carts like the original R4 hasn't had a firmware update so it requires the anti-piracy code for Ring of Fates to avoid the "Thanks for Playing" screen.

I don't think it's ever too late to apply, there's not that much people in the clan and on when I'm on. It would be great if more from the gbatemp community joined, then there would be more phantasy star online records. Xfire for some reason won't detect the schthack's phantasy star online for me.
I don't think a red one is girly at all, many friend's of mine had red ones and they looked pretty good.
To Raza, not all DS Mario games are bad. Certainly Kart is overrated imo, but 64 was a good remake and Party was a good time killer.
