Hacking Problem updating R4iGold from r4ids.cn, Revision C

Are we all actually using the same update file? The one I'm using is from http://r4ids.cn/news.htm and not the downloads page.

    Hacking Golden Sun on PSP?

Last I checked, J was the most recently updated. It's what I use and it works wonderfully, though you have to wade through the Japanese options using a translation guide (assuming you don't speak Japanese) to set it to English. I just started it and it seems to run fine outside of battles. I...

Hacking PS3 Dualshock control layout hacks?

I have a Go and was going to start playing MHFU since I'm almost finished with Tri. The Go isn't the most ergonomic for "the claw" (using your index finger for the D-pad while using your thumb for the analog stick at the same time) so I was hoping to use a PS3 controller and remap the D-pad to...

Hacking Play XBOX games on the Wii?

First, check and see if the games will work on a 360. Last I checked only so many titles are officially supported backwards-compatibility-wise and it isn't nearly perfect like the Wii's backwards compatibility. If most of the games won't work on a 360 then find an original Xbox. If the ones you...

Hacking Play XBOX games on the Wii?

Short answer: No. Long answer: The Wii and both versions of the Xbox have significantly different hardware and software to the point where emulation would be necessary on the part of the Wii. However, the Wii isn't nearly as powerful as a 360 (not sure about the original Xbox though) and even...

    Gaming Anyone get Starhawk?

Starhawk was released yesterday and I'm having an absolute blast with it! The problem is I'm having a hard time finding friends to play this with. If any of you bought the game, I was hoping we could make some sort of a GBATemp clan in the game and have regular scheduled matches and the like...

Hacking Any known PSP Go incompatible PSP games?

Which is heavily implied here ;)

Hacking Any known PSP Go incompatible PSP games?

In my experience the only things that don't work on the Go are some specific versions of POPSloader and maybe some random homebrew/plugins. For example, I tried to get Digimon World 3 running using my own ripped ISO and all of the threads I've read discussing compatibility say to run it with...

The Weekly Temp 33: Quality Matters

Dude it's MR_COW! :D How have you been, man? Did you see the Underneath The Sycamore video new on Nintendo Video today? I haven't listened to the podcast yet but I will as soon as I have enough time this week.

Wii #2880 - Xenoblade Chronicles (USA)

This is hilarious. I just picked this up from GameStop yesterday and it's EXACTLY THE SAME as the European version, more or less. It might have less translations or something, but the voice acting, spelling, and logo are the same. Nintendo was apparently too lazy to fix the localization up for...

Hacking Disc could not be read

This happened earlier today for me with Xenoblade. It sounds like that's what happened.

EDIT: disregard this reply, I misread you. Are you sure you followed the instructions exactly?

Hacking neek2o setup not working with external drive

I just tried using the HBC startup method and that doesn't work either :(. Odd... I guess I'll just have to use a regular USB loader for the time being. If there's any way I can help (debug logs, etc.) I'd love to.

Hacking neek2o setup not working with external drive

I'll try it later. I'm using CFG Loader from my regular nand if that doesn't work, though it isn't exactly ideal. What's odd is that I can't access the drive from neek2o at all, whereas it works perfectly in regular nand for everything. The drive is definitely compatible, but neek2o just won't...

Hacking neek2o setup not working with external drive

One more detail that's rather important that I left out: when I say CFG loader works, I mean it works only on my original NAND. If I use my emulated NAND and try to launch the loader, it fails. This is definitely a problem with neek/neek2o and not my drive.

Hacking neek2o setup not working with external drive

Well changing to 16kb cluster sizes didn't help at all. CFG Loader runs fine (it's on the same HDD, booted from the USB Loader channel I installed with Modmii) and sees the disk as I said, but sneek2o+DI just won't see it. Here's my CFG Loader log, if it helps. Also, thanks for Modmii, XFlak!

Hacking Is it possible to hack super mario world on the wii to use wii mote?

Hear hear! If you could rip the ROM from the Wii disc (is that even possible or did they severely modify it?) and put it in an emulator, it'd be perfectly legal, but downloading a ROM from the internet that you do not legally own is illegal. Sorry to hear that, though :(. Classic Controllers...

Hacking neek2o setup not working with external drive

You say in the thread that you have a 300GB drive, so it's definitely not the same model as mine. I'll try changing to a lower cluster size, but after I've exhausted all my other options.

Hacking neek2o setup not working with external drive

Aww, I didn't see it in the HDD compatability list so I figured it was alright. You're serious you have the same model? Hmm... I admit, my original post was a little cryptic. Actually it's the other way around: uneek+di doesn't work (light flashes once) but sneek+di does work. I used rev 75 of...

Hacking neek2o setup not working with external drive

Don't you think I would have tried that already :P? Hence why I said "None of my WBFS or extracted games are showing up like they used to on my flash drive". I've used DI before. The problem is, there are no games on the list at all. I can't open any of my WBFS or extracted games, but they show...
