Hacking Is USB 2.0 Integrated Into The USB Loaders?

first of all, I assure you that you have no clue what you're talking about. the wii has usb 2.0 already, you can't "install" it the usb loaders utilize 2.0 already. usb 1.0 would be slower than the dvd drive. since you already are noticing speed increases you can be certain usb 2.0 is in use...

Hacking Are teh COD5 servers down? or is it gamma?

haven't tried COD5 myself but in my experience a lot of the Wii online games just have shitty servers and go down randomly. esp since it's a new game it probably is getting heavy load on the servers. just wait awhile and try again later, you could call the producers of the game and complain if...

    Hacking Wii softmod problem

try deleting the VC and Wiiware channels within the wii data management menu, then re-install them with wad-manager or just straight re-installing with wad manager if you can't delete them within the wii menu as long as you keep your save files they should restore as if they never left.

Hardware ASSIST PLEASE, BOUGHT WIIKEY, GOT QUESTION...

story form my botched wii-key install: was trying the direct solder to wii board method, I had some giant globs of solder that managed to bridge some connections, my shitty battery-powered iron couldn't melt it all the way so i had to pry it off. managed to rip off elements from the wii PCB...

    Hacking Wii Update: 3.3U Out

The people who would do that sort of thing are the same people who are smart enough to not update in the first place. also it might not be that simple, new shop channel might check your version or check the new patched IOSes or something.

    Hacking Backup Launcher by Wiigator

even if they have it installed, the update patches all the bugged IOSs and the downgrader wont fix those, thus making you still screwed. sit tight though I hear a real solution is in the works.

    Hacking Wii Update: 3.3U Out

I'm pretty sure those who upgraded have reason to have hope. twilight hack has already been updated, so regardless of your current state, there's still a way to run homebrew. from what I understand a fix would be wipe the entire NAND filesystem and rewrite it with older version stuff. that's...

    Hacking Wii Update: 3.3U Out

Hacking Can I Restore My Wii?

my understanding is that the wii shop keeps track of your purchases through a unique console ID, not local data, so I'm pretty sure formatting would still successfully wipe everything. I've been wrong before though...

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.
