A few people have been messing with it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/nesclassicmods/comments/63awyd/might_be_lucky_with_a_c64_core_for_the_nes/
Sadly, not much progress so far.
Thank you very much for the tutorial! Only took me a coiple minutes and now I have an extra 60MB to mess around with! Compressed files tested and working fine.
Cheers! :grog:
Sorry for the late reply. There is currently no way to set any parameters for the original 30 (as far as I'm aware). The games would need to be hidden, re-added and loaded through Retroarch to use those cheat packs.
I agree. This community is great when it comes to helping out. However, (from a post I made before)...I'm in agreement with what others have posted before. These are dev builds. If you cannot figure out how to compile it yourself, you should probably just wait on the release. If Cluster wanted...
It was in my "testing" folder last run with a few NES games. I moved it to it's own "N64" folder and the result is the same.
Sorry, Can't do it. You should figure out how to compile from source or you probably shouldn't be messing with them. Just wait for an official release. Cluster has...
Pilotwings 64 was the last thing I transferred at around ~270mb. Game shows up, gives a C8 and crashes on the next start...I need a new test game.
The last few NES games I added are there and work as expected.
Reflashing.
I've (others too) posted on how to compile the source from Github. It's already implemented. It's a release candidate version.
"Install Visual Studio Community 2015 (uncheck the web tools during install to save ~2gb). Download the source zip from Github. Unpack. Open the folder. Open the file...
I'm a few pages behind (like 20+)...so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned...Yay!
Edit: @Cluster, I wish you would reconsider the pull request for the retroarch checkbox. Maybe if it only shows if the module is installed?
Interesting. I'd suggest starting slow and working your way up. Process of elimination. I just had my first "directory not empty" error while uploading. Just gotta change a few things and try again. :)
If anyone is interested, here's the Nestopia chest code pack I posted to Github when I made my menu request: http://www.mediafire.com/file/eaq1a5cpkk9py22/
Would be awesome to get .cht files supported as well down the road. Thanks again Cluster and all involved! Amazing job!
FYI...Seems last night's issues with the project file are sorted. However, it also looks like a few new errors were introduced. Trying to build with the most recent commits (r263) will fail.
