    I use dont64 beta as it runs .N64 files off external HDisc, the full release only runs files from SD RetroArch is on my PS3, the N64 games are better on the Wii IMHO ,😎

    think they are good for eternity, unless you leave old batterys in them, then green gunge on the four contact points. I've had 2 since 2010, still work perfectly 🥳 nothing to do with normal 3v V rechargeable 2.6v batterys 👍

    I did get this to work.... in a small fashion, basically it's the Wii ain't powerfull enought to play all the data, so it 'pixels' out lots, better with a £20 DVD player!! or a PS2 or PS3 for £20-60 !!

    Hacking game saves to another PS3 slim....

    I have two PS3 slim's, one has more recent game saves on it, so thought would save them to USB. put them in other PS3, copy them across, play a game, and says "not same user" or something to that effect. how is that? both consoles have same model#, CFW, user name and internal 500GB drive...

    ^cheers MF619 must be some way round it by tricking the usb UPDAT.PUP file, so thinks it's >4.83 just had a quick look through 4.83 & 4.82, at &292 it does say V.VV, so changed to 4.84, still said same message LOL, damn, nothing easy like hacking an Acorn Atom 300baud tape to 40T 51/4" disc!

    as thread suggests, has anyone got a known way to 'reverse' back to O(Sony)FW4.82 so I can have another PS3 for my other daughter to play the same backup games. did they (sony) just update the files to 4.83 in October2018 to try to stop the internet hack?? now thats two PS3 slims useless FFS...

    I took out my 120gb HD and put in a 500GB laptop HD, had to install the original Sony OS 4.82, then do the hack again (put on the flash482.HEX file), then put on the hackOS4.82 , all works again!

    This used to load with cIOS249, you have updated, so now it only loads with cIOS250. If using confUSBldr70, click game, go to option, and change ios to 250, save, sorted! :wink: PS u will also need 250 to run codMW3 when u get that too!
