    Also, make sure that what you use to make the forwarder is actually using an up-to-date version of nds-bootstrap. TwilightMenu++ typically ships with whatever latest version there is, and the updater tool that's out there can download the nightly builds if you want to try those.

    If no other carts do it, your cart may have some data corruption on it. It doesn't always present itself in obvious ways.

    You're looking for an original R4 firmware, not the R4i, which is from a different manufacturer. http://old.r4wood.com/pages/Wood-R4-Kernel.html You may have to look into using YsMenu if some games aren't working. That's about the oldest card there is. Also, that doesn't look like the SDHC...
