    I believe the only current way to unlock your phone would be with a developer unlock, which still doesn't give you 100% access (Interop or root unlock required) I'd advice you to keep it. There's not a whole lot you're missing out on, and you won't die from the things that you are.

    I have one, though don't use it very often anymore. It runs XBMC fairly well (it did 4 months ago when I tried it, should run even better now ;) ) You have to be careful with your sound codecs though. Might want to get a receiver / TV that supports everything, so the Pi can just passthrough...

    DX cases are pretty good in quality, Imo. Not as good as genuine, but it works ;P Also you're lucky you just have scratches and a brown thingy, I burned some pixels to death with that 200mW laser from DX >__> (Together with the "Note" button )
