    Disclaimer: The below is complete speculation. I assume there's a "current number of owned weapons" flag somewhere. You can fill the data for a new weapon in, but the game doesn't bother reading past however many it thinks you have unless that number gets updated.

    "Slots" go by "order aquired". Slot 1 being the earliest; if your sort arrow thing is pointing downward, slot 1 will be in the lowest postion, slot 2 just above that, etc. Also, I love you.

    With DM 2.8, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles will crash every time you attempt to touch magicite while editing your command list.
