Hacking YS Menus skins?

Hacking YS Menus skins?
I've been using the YS Menu for a while now, and though it is much stabler IMO than the standard TTDS menu, it is really bland to look at. I've downloaded the DS skin customizer with the YS menu plugin, but my background still remains blank. What am I doing wrong?- pvchook
