    Using a clean .iso, prom 4, runs fine until i try to embark on a mission where it freezes. Seems to be a common problem. EDIT: Just patched using Iso Tool with prom-4 patch and can confirm that the game no longer freezes when heading out for a mission.

    This will probably get hated on, but Duels of the Planeswalkers (360/PC, I believe) could be okay for you to start, I mean, yes, you have to pay for it (£6.99 on Steam), and there is very limited to no deck building, but it will certainly help you get a feel for how the game works in general...

    I would say, get something written down on it yourself, just incase your friend doesnt turn up/forgets the notes or whatever. At least if you write something down, you can get some peace of mind that you wont be stuck with nothing to say.
