    That's what she said.

DS #DSi 0018: James Patterson's Women's Murder Club: Games of Passion

It's no "title fail." The apostrophe implies that the murder club BELONGS to the "women," and this game is in fact based on a series of novels about a group or professional women who get together and solve mysteries. I haven't read any of the books, personally, so no idea how good they are or...

DS #3986: Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past (USA)

from the reviews I've read, this version is MUCH better than the original release, with lots of extras, more cases, and as has been mentioned already, a re-done script. I played the original for about 20 minutes... definitely plan to give this one a shot.

    DS #3952: Speed Racer (Japan)

Seems kind of odd to me that this was released in Japan under the Americanized "Speed Racer," instead of the actual Japanese anime/manga title "Mach Go Go Go." Same thing with the movie.

DS #3675: Sherlock Holmes DS: The Mystery of the Mummy (Europe)

Why would you want to play a game based on an existing story? If you've read the story, you know how it plays out. Where would be the mystery in that?

    DS #3615: Touch Mechanic (USA)

The point? Fun, I guess. Think of this game as LIFESIGNS or TRAUMA CENTER, except with cars instead of people. I really enjoyed the old ENG-hack version, although I hit a wall after mission #30 or so and just couldn't get any further. It was fun while it lasted, though.

    DS #3551: Scrabble (USA)

This version seems much worse than the Euro version. Weak.

DS #3507: Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry (Europe)

I really have to congratulate you-- every time I think you've said the stupidest thing you can possibly say, you manage to top yourself. That is indeed a rare talent.

    DS #3512: Suikoden Tierkreis (Europe)

The English dub isn't all that bad-- except for the main character (which, since he's YOU, is kind of a big problem). Not sure what on earth happened there. Everyone else in the game seems to be acting pretty well, and the voices run at a normal speed, yet the main character is just ridiculous...

DS #3424: Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride (USA)

If you're using a CycloDS, there is no need to run any cheat to get the game to work-- Download the 1.54b3 firmware from the TeamCyclops website and you're good to go. http://cyclopsds.com/downloads/evo-firmware-1.54-BETA_3.zip

DS #3396: Dragon Quest: The Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Europe)

Just checked-- using cyclo firmware 1.51 Well, so far I have gotten passed the haunted castle, returned to Whealbrook, saved, gone to the fairy world, beat the winter queen, saved, returned to Whealbrook, saved, and am now on my way to Coburg. Maybe I'm just not understanding where you're...

DS #3396: Dragon Quest: The Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Europe)

I'm using a CycloDS and Narin's cheat, as I said. -I got off the ship with no problems (Are you sure you're actually talking to everyone on board?) -I also rescued the guy in the cave with no problems -On top of that, I have saved at least 4-5 times with no problems. I believe I am still...

DS #3396: Dragon Quest: The Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Europe)

using Narin's cheat and playing on a CycloDS-- I had no problems whatsoever in getting off the ship (it took all of 2 minutes).

    DS #3385: My DoItAll (USA)

I saw a screen in the video that showed a selection of polyhedral dice... can this be used as a dice roller for tabletop RPGs?

DS #3356: Meitantei Conan and Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo (Japan)

Wow, gotta love these fantasy manga/anime team-ups. I'm also a rather big Kindaichi fan, but it seems incredibly unlikely that anyone will bother translating this. Ah well.

    DS #3261: Moon (USA)

Game seems decent enough so far, although the music is definitely NES/8-bit quality annoying. Many people buy games and still wish to put them on their flashcart (rather than carry 30 games around). Maybe you can keep your lectures to yourself?

DS #3212: 100 Classic Book Collection (Europe)

can anyone hack up a 1MB save file for this game?

DS #3212: 100 Classic Book Collection (Europe)

Just discovered a problem-- I went online and downloaded the additional 10 books they offered, but each time I try and return to read, the program locks up. When I restart, it tells me the download data is corrupt, and it deletes two of the files. When I attempt to go back online and download...

DS #3209: Shinchan ÂAventuras de Cine! (Spain)

Not all that much. Probably helps if you're a huge fan of the show/manga (and can read Spanish). I CAN read Spanish, and I don't think you miss too much without it... it's just a typical platformer with the typical Shin-chan weirdness thrown in (like a guy in a leotard yelling "ham! ham! ham!").

DS #3212: 100 Classic Book Collection (Europe)

Can't speak for you, but I've been reading ebooks for years and have no problem... I started on my palm device, then my pocketpc, and now I use mobipocket reader on my blackberry curve. Never had any issues with eyestrain or anything else. I like real books, but there's something to be said...
