    I hacked my Wii sometime ago to install the HBC and some IOSes to play Animal Crossing. Now I am getting a black screen when I try to play Wii Sports Resort. How should I go about fixing this? Would it be OK to just install the IOSes or the wads even if I did some of them already?

    Jizmo is correct. You do have to have a previous save file in place for Zelda before you can use Team Twiizers'.

    Oh man that sucks. I have had some really bad experiences with the some incompetent employees at Gamestop. Just ask to talk to the manager and file a formal complaint. They will most likely listen to your woes.

    Use the 3.4 Twilight Hack for your region and rename it to boot.dol. If you are on 3.4 firmware, the Wii will try to delete the save before you get into the game, so boot it fast. That's all I can say. If you need more help, check some of the numerous tutorials on this site.

    Hacking best brand of dvd-r to use when burning backups?

    I only use Verbatim DVD-r's. To be honest with you, I have burned about 20 backups, and not one has been a coaster. I will never use another DVD.

    Hacking Long Winded Explanatin of IOS/CIOS

    Wow that was a very interesting read. This seems very unnecessary however. Wouldn't it be better to load your games from a backup launcher, rather than patch every single IOS in your wii, just so you can load your games from the disc channel? Seems very risky.
