Just to warn you the Pokemon Company recently DMCA all the Pokedex apps in the Android Market so if you try putting it there it will be taken off in no time. There are third party markets you can sell your app from, of course, but it won't receive nearly as much attention.
You can use Titanium Backup (search on Market) to manage system apps. Be careful what you touch though; it's slightly advanced stuff and you could mess up something if you delete something vital.
Also I'm not sure if the DS can connect to Android Wi-Fi tethering. It's very particular about what...
I'd say the hardware for the Play makes me a bit suspicious if it will stand the test of time when duel-core processor Androids are about to arrive on the market. It will still be powerful enough to play most the games available in the next few months, but when games come out that are optimised...
You probably are going to have to make the icons yourself on a computer, or look somewhere online where someone has made a set. Then you can look for an app called Desktop VisualizeR to make shortcuts with custom icons. You can use the native Android shortcut function too but that seems to get a...
Yeah, at the risk of sounding like a fanboy, if you get an Android phone with the same specs as an iPhone, you won't be getting any lag lol.
The Android platform was designed to be more friendly environment to advanced users than the iPhone. The (not so) secret to the iPhone being lag-free most...
True but I think unless you cover your track properly the repair guy might notice your phone has been rooted at some point, especially if you have been changing some root files which should otherwise be inaccessible, and voids your warranty. Best to be safe.
Wow. First off, you don't need to root your phone to install free apps (you're thinking of the Fruity phone), and you don't need to root your phone to reflash the firmware either. You can connect it to the PC with the official software and reflash the official firmware without rooting.
Anyway...
Yeah, you would definitely void your warranty. Although you can easily reflash the original firmware and there's no way the repair guy can tell if your phone was ever rooted.
Anyway, rooting is pretty important when it comes to doing a lot of stuff such as taking phone screenshots or backing up...
Dunno if this is a bit late. The Optimus's really glaring flaw, imo, is the resistive touch screen which would make it a pain in the neck to use. (Although most phones in that range comes with resistive touch screens anyway) I haven't really looked at lower-end Android phones so I don't have...
I'm guessing the trailer is showing the songs on Easy mode. (Try playing the easiest level in EBA, the beats are really that slow.) Hopefully on higher difficulties the game is gonna be more fast-paced so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt for now.
Okay, let's assume your four coins are objects called Coin1, Coin2, etc.
Make the AI for Coin1 like this like this:
CODEStart:
Set art to xxx (the frame where you see your coin)
Locate within
AI1:
Trigger: When Coin1 is tapped
Action: Jump to
Rather than spawning the same coin 4 times just copy the coin as 4 different objects and have them spawn one after the other, each with their own switch. When you tap one, make that one disappears and spawn the next one. Make the win condition so that all the 4 switches have to be on.
(You can...
150 MB is good enough if you don't do any heavy surfing and/or app downloading. Just get a data transfer monitoring app and you'll be fine. Also use Opera for browsing since they will compress pictures and stuff before sending them to you which makes the data transfers a lot smaller.
The...
I went to a garage sell last saturday, and the lady had a PS2 for sale, but she had a sign on it that said "Nintendo -$50", had to laugh, almost bought but she didn't know if worked, and she didn't have controller or cables, so I passed.
