Hacking I need help with a USB Loader

Just chiming in that I have also done just about all these things and have had no success. Black screens, freezing at "booting game", returning to Wii menu. My game works in Dolphin but not on the system.

Hacking I need help with a USB Loader

Replying to be notified because I'm having the same problem. GameCube games load just fine, but none of the loaders load Wii games.

Homebrew No backlight option in BootNTR

Interesting. So it is a somewhat common problem. Bummer because that was the number one feature I used on there

Homebrew No backlight option in BootNTR

Recently the backlight option in the X+Y menu hasn't been showing up. I have both "The New NTR CFW" and "NTR CFW" (I don't know what the difference is; they seem to do the same thing. I haven't been able to find anyone with this same problem, so I'm confused. I guess this happened around the...

Homebrew Mod to speed gather animation in MH?

It drives me crazy. It's just so slow. It almost makes me not want to gather any materials in Monster Hunter. Is there a mod that exists or anything to increase the speed of the animation? Or am I going to have to start learning modding for myself?

Thank you very much for the help! I always appreciate the people on here who are patient with us beginners

Homebrew Restore N3DS with sysNAND after DSiWare transfer?

Thank you for the step-by-step! So I will still have access to cfw (but more importantly gm9) after the transfer? Otherwise I wouldn't be able to restore the backup, I'm assuming. That's really my main question here. Sorry for the noob here, but I just want the important details worked out.

Homebrew Restore N3DS with sysNAND after DSiWare transfer?

So I just click and drag the sysnand .bin file onto the sd card and I have all my cfw and other things back (aside from game files)? I haven't seen a definitive way of doing a nand restore, so I'm assuming you just put the file onto the card

Homebrew Restore N3DS with sysNAND after DSiWare transfer?

I'm running 11.5 on my N3DS with b9s and cfw and all that stuff. I want to help out my brother, who is running stock on 11.5, and use the system transfer to give him b9s as well. But I want to keep all the stuff I have now. If I do a NAND backup with gm9 and then do the transfer, can I then...

Homebrew An exception occured, Processor: ARM11 (core 0) help.

This error has shown up a few times and I'm not sure what to do about it. It only happens when I launch The New NTR CFW twice (accidentally) or try to play something on the libRetro PCSX. I've seen some posts about people having the same problem, but I can't any of them that have solutions. Does...

Homebrew Any good Japanese games with English patches?

I just started playing MHS wit the patch that is out and I'm really liking it. And that got me thinking, are there any other games out there that have patches because it's Japanese only or just not out yet in our region?

Homebrew DSiWareHax transferring back to original n3ds?

Thanks for the tip. I don't really care about that stuff, so I can do without it. auto One more quick question for you. So I looked up the JKSM, but it's cfw. When I system transfer from the o2ds to my n3ds, I will still have all my content AND access to cfw at that point? That way I can...

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
