So on compiling this myself and using firmtool to convert the built bin file into a firm, I get a black screen instead of the menu. Is there any way to fix this?
I'm using B9S 1.0, with luma 7.1.
That one big boy salute picture comes to mind right now...
@chaoskagami, I think you need a lot more praise with this project. Having modular patches like yours is quite a unique concept, and it got me excited as soon as I saw it was being done.
But alas, the constantly accelerating target that...
Although sad, the good news is that Nintendo are FINALLY making titles and title updates require newer kernels to run.
One would think they would have done this with the home menu to block downgrades, but whatever. Maybe they're just too nice :p
Not to mention that trying to make rxTools for the modern age is literally trying to polish a turd. Whatever you do, it's still a turd.
(although I might still work on my rxTools fork from time to time, just for fun)
The GPL was designed SPECIFICALLY to prevent unfair shit like this from...
Annnd... I bricked my console!
Won't even boot CTRNAND, or screeninit, and I used the latest version of SafeA9LHInstaller (v2.0.3), as well as the latest A9LH fork from AuroraWright.
Looks like I've gotta get a hardmod done and flash my NAND backup, but I won't be home until next week. :(
This...
A9LH v3?
Anyway, I'm busy putting this text into a stage2 payload. It's taking a long time though since I need to add a font + string draw functions (mostly from ShadowNAND and Cakes).
I also have to do a lot of cleanup, and I'm a complete n00b to C, so this will take a while.
^This.
It seems like a good idea for a first time boot message once A9LH has been installed.
I might integrate this into a stage or CFW or something lol
That's what I meant by it being like libctru - since that is just an abstraction layer for the 3DS ARM11 userspace (through multihax).
Nevertheless, it still looks like a pretty good library.
Should do since 'a9lh v2' only refers to the initial payload (emebdded into nand) and not the one on the SD card (which is what you use to boot Linux).
EDIT: Just looked above at the problems some people were having with the new payload, so YMMV.
Can we still get it from CDN though?
Just checked, doesn't seem to be deleted yet, might be able to get it through HBM using the 'old versions' eshop icon
yo guys the sonic x shadow generations trailer dropped today, and shadow just straight up decided, and i hate (love) to bring this dead meme up, but, it's morbin time
