    because the aformentioned operating systems are still getting active updates, when windows 7 is essentially depricated at this point. It's not like its not going to work in windows 7, rather if something breaks, windows 7 users are on their own at that front.

    the battery might not like it, but the SOC would do fine. the stock tegra x1 in the nvidia shield runs at 1.9ghz, and can be overclocked (my shield is) to 2.1ghz. people really think the switch is going to explode, it isn't. just dont run the clocks on battery.
