    This could be the card or the adapter. To troubleshoot, try using a different sd card in the adapter. If problem persists, suspect the adapter itself. Could be a janky adapter. Please also make sure write-protect switch is disabled on adapter.

    In order to ban the hardware, they need to uniquely identify it. Theoretically, there should be a way to spoof that hardware fingerprint (even if it's not technically possible on PS5 atm).

    If you dont use rosin flux, the solder will stick to the iron and apply unevenly. Putting just a dab of flux on any solder point will make sure solder flows. I recommend this for tinning as well; dip the wire into some flux and then tin it. I used to dry solder everything like a complete retard.

    This may not help, but I want to point out that component and composite use different pins. The AV console port may have damaged pins (7,9,11) for component. Also, pins 8 and 10 must be shorted to output Component Video. Damage to pin 8 and/or 10 would prevent this, outputting RGB or S-Video...

    Yes, thank you. I agree that the issue is isolated to the board itself since the screen works with a known good board. This may be useless info, but you can change the color palletes on GBC by using button combos on startup. I'm curious if you can use this to get the screen back to normal on...
