They each play differently and is a nice way to enjoy the game a lot more! Also, you can always just redo the final bosses over and over since they are so fun
Thanks man. I plan to do all that after I finish binge finishing the series. Then I'll go back to KH1 and try to complete the synthesis items and get the legendary keyblade, and move on to KH2 and so on.
By legendary keyblade you mean the Ultima chain? Sure it's good, but KH1 doesn't need that thing, just make sure to beat Sephiroth and the other bosses at the Colloseum, along with the Phantom and the other special bosses and then you have done all the important things for KH1. However, KH2 will take a LOT of grinding for the special bosses, so heads up!
Not need, want lol. It's all about want after finishing a game, I might like the satisfaction of having the ultimate weapon so I might try to go for it whether or not it's needed to defeat anyone. But ofc the need gives incentive, so glad that's there in KH2. I'm level 22 now and tried the first Silhouette, I actually almost defeated him, but just couldn't dodge everything and then died.
What first Silhouette? And for KH2, I highly advise you to grind enough to be 5-10 levels higher than what the world level is each time if not playing in easy or you will have a very hard time in some spots... Also, ABUSE the Reflect spells, those things are seriously broken!
I have confidence in my skillz amigo. So far I've been at or 1 or 2 above the levels and now I'm in atlantis. Until I get my ass handed to me, I will proceed without grinding lol.
YES THE REFLECT SPELLS OMG. They're amazing against bosses. I spammed the shit out of that in the first Underworld Cup being 5 levels under requirement against those buggy/car like heartless.
Wait until you reach the 90s stages in the Underworld cup and you will see how broken they are! Yuffie, Tifa, Cloud and Leon ALL AT ONCE vs just you, spam Reflega the moment the match starts and you instantly beat two while the other two only have a bit of HP left, lol! Have Ultima chain on top for MP Haste to spam magic even more and you are broken AF!
Wait there's enemies that can hit through reflect? That's a bummer haha. I have yet to upgrade any of my spells. Right now what's working for me is the sick combos I keep unlocking since I chose the sword. All sorts of air combos, ground combos, parry and countering, and reaction commands really make me feel like a badass.
Only Sephiroth can with Octaslash, Scintilla and that other Zantetsuken-like attack of his (keep forgetting what it's called). And One-Winged Angel of course is unblockable completely and gets you to 0 MP and 1HP instantly, so yeah, he's basically the second hardest boss in KHII after Terra's Armor...
Of course there is, you get reaction commands instead and do special blocks for most of them (eg: you spin around blocking each and every of the 20+ hits his Zantetsuken-like ability does while looking all cool instead of getting one-shotted) or you have to try and interrupt some others (One-Winged Angel needs to be interrupted for example or it always hits).
What's worse, is that if you get hit and somehow live through his combos, you have to heal, but if One-Winged Angel hits you, you HAVE to pop an Elixir quickly before you die because you have no magic to heal ON TOP of not being able to change into a Forme because you fight him alone.
That's good to hear. Is spamming Triangle a good option? So far I haven't seen any consequence of doing so, other than having fun pressing triangle at the right moment.
In the Sephiroth fight, not pressing triangle is certain death as the moment the fight starts if you don't press it you are instantly one shotted But you still need to time it right and rarely you might not want to press it, just think of it as trial and error. And nope, since you can't be 100, it caps at 99, lol! But you should craft stat boosters first, like 5 of each...
Here's a good example of the fight if you don't mind spoilers for it, just look at the start and how the reaction command lets you block everything or how easy it it to get down to 1HP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVcbyeJd2Uk One of best bosses in the series if you ask me!
Well, since he's the most fun to battle, I just beat him after everyone else (even after Terra's Armor) since when I tried it at level 40 once I just lost, so I was level 99, with all skills maxed out and about 50 stat boosters for each stat, making me basically broken, so I beat him in one try and easily.
I prefer ground combos by the way, because the triple orb finisher just lowers his HP by almost a full bar, which is very good, but you can do it with whatever style you want. However, to avoid the attack that gets you down to 1HP, you need High Jump and the ability to use Master Forme's spin midair to jump even higher (you get it after you max out the forme).
