I don't particularly care to be honest, all this means is that the 3DS money pillow is going to start shrinking now unless they do something major about the Wii U. If anything, this is incentive to get off their asses, slash prices and release quality titles.
Not to mention making the WiiU interesting. Because so far, I'm not jumping on that. Then again for what it is, the WiiU is incredibly tough to market.
They just have to wake up and realize that it's no competition against the other two Next Gens and market it differently. The casual audience is gone - they have smartphones now... Family gaming isn't "a thing", really... So what's left is the core Nintendo audience - that's what they need to aim at.
I'm not going to lie - I'm not one to miss out on games and I will get a Wii U eventually. My lass wants Pokemon and Zelda, I want a new Metroid Prime. Gimme that and I'm in on the U-Train. It's not going to make a U-turn, it'll sell 50-60 mil tops unless things on the market change, but it'll stop being a weight on the 3DS's success.
